The output signal is proportional to the average current and may vary slightly from RMS ammeter readings depending on the load.

Note: If you are sensing low currents below 10A, you can wrap the primary cable through the hole twice, which makes the full-scale current 5A. If you can fit 10 wraps of the primary, this becomes a 1A full-scale sensor.

The sensor is a non-clamping style and is on sale for clearance since we have a new clamping/split-core current transformer which is easier to install.
