Air Flow Sensor

The Air Flow Sensor senses air flow in HVAC ducts and report air flow over both analog and digital (Modbus an Bacnet) communication protocols. An instrument grade pitot tube provides outstanding accuracy with maximum efficiency over various duct widths. Set the analog output range by adjusting the Modbus and Bacnet commands.

An air flow sensor plays a vital role in monitoring the amount of air flowing in HVAC systems. By providing precise data to the control unit, it helps maintain optimum air flow into the space.

Designed for accuracy and repeatability, this pitot tube based air flow sensor averages the air velocity at several points in the air stream to provide for a more accurate reading than traditional single point sensors. Order teh pitot tube to suit the duct size up to 1 meter (3 ft) in length. For larger ducts several pitots can be ganged up to further improve the measurement.
